Simple Garlic Green Beans

Note:
The key to this dish is mincing the garlic finely so that the heat of the boiled beans cooks the garlic through. And remember, with simple, fresh dishes like this one, better quality ingredients equal a better final product. Make sure to use high quality olive oil and fresh green beans!
Ingredients:
1 lb green beans, trimmed
3 cloves of garlic, finely minced
3 Tbsp good quality extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and season with a pinch of tsp of salt
Boil green beans until just-tender, about 4-5 minutes
While the beans are cooking, add the olive oil and minced garlic to the bottom of your serving dish
Drain the green beans and immediately add them to the olive oil and garlic
Season with salt and pepper, and toss the beans with the olive oil and garlic
Serve
